The PRL H&S staff consists of seasoned health and safety professionals including Board
Certified Safety Professional’s (CSP’s), and OSHA Certified Outreach trainers. Our expertise is in
implementing both General Industry and Construction Industry OSHA compliance standards,
Comprehensive H&S Program Development, Safety Program Auditing, Accident Investigation, H&S
Training, and Emergency Response.
Health & Safety Services
- On-Site Safety Audits: We perform on-site safety audits to identify federal and state OSHA, corporate, and Army Corp of Engineers safety compliance discrepancies.
Specific areas audited include mandatory posting requirements, use and storage of personal protective
equipment (PPE), fall protection, excavation, confined space, electrical hazards, hazard
communication, lock-out/tag-out, forklift operations, subcontractor safety compliance, and
best practices.
- Job Hazard Analysis: Performing job hazard analysis and recommending the most cost effective and
appropriate methods for mitigating the hazards.
- Accident Investigations: Providing accident/incident investigation and recommending
corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- OSHA Inspection Assistance: Accompanying OSHA on compliance inspections and assisting with
compiling your company's reply to OSHA on implementing corrective actions.
- Health and Safety Training: OSHA Certified Construction Outreach trainers can provide training
on topics such as: Hazard Communication; Personal Protective Equipment; Lock Out/Tag Out;
Hazard Recognition; Forklift Operator's Certification; Fall Protection; Hearing Conservation; First
Aid/CPR; and many other topics that can be customized to meet your company needs. For more

- Managing the OSHA 300 Log: Identifying OSHA recordable injuries, assisting with workers'
compensation claims management and updating your OSHA 300 log.
- Respiratory Protection Plan: Our H&S specialists will come to your site and provide a written
plan that will assist your company in protecting its employees against hazardous atmospheres,
evaluating engineering and administrative controls, and respirator selection and fit testing
requirements. All respiratory protection plans are written to the compliance standards of OSHA
regulation 29 CFR 1910.134.
- Emergency Medical Treatment Services: We can supply on-site Alaska State Certified
Emergency Medical technicians to provide medical treatment and assistance in the medical evacuation
of injured personnel. Specializing in remote site operations our medical staff can provide your
job site with 24 hour emergency medical coverage to help ensure your injured employees get
the professional medical treatment they deserve.
- On-Site Safety Professional Staff: We can provide 24 hour a day coverage with on-site safety
technicians to implement OSHA compliance and/or your company safety processes. These
experienced safety professionals specialize in remote site operations. Our safety technicians
will perform accident investigation, record keeping, safety training, tool box talks, job hazard
analysis, safety audits, new employee orientations and other safety related duties as required
by the client.
